Myrmecology is the branch of entomology focused on the scientific study of ants. Myrmecologists seek to understand the biology of ants; to uncover the secrets of the hidden empires of the undergrowth. As an early-career myrmecologist and long time ant keeper, Miles brings together the enthusiast and scientific communities. In Myrmecology in Madagascar, The Ant Network team joined other young ecologists in Madagascar, where they uncovered the ant diversity in an unexplored dry forest.
